George Galloway British Parliament Speaks On Syria

George Galloway articulates what most here are thinking & discussing. This video is awesome in its content and veracity. For those members and visitors who cannot watch video, I have taken the liberty of doing a partial transcript myself (approximately 80% of it) as one is currently not available on Mr Galloways website, nor youtube or anywhere else that I can find. There may be a few words out of place but you will soon get the drift of the message.

Like I said Pwned…………

its absolutely evident that if it were not for the democratic revolt both inside here in the house of commons and outside in the wider public against this war that the engines in Cyprus would now be revving and the cruise missiles ready to fly this very weekend and any attempt by the PM to pretend that he had always all along intended on this course of action is just bunkum.

Talking about the Assad regime…………..

not that they are not Bad enough to do it (use chemical weapons) Mr Speaker, everybody knows they’re bad enough to do it, the question is are they mad enough to do it…to launch a cw attack in Damascus on the very day that the United nations Chemical weapons inspection team arrives is Damascus must be a new definition of madness and of course if he is that mad, how mad is he going to be once we launch a blizzard of tomahawk missiles upon his country

Because this government is intent on regime change in Damascus which brings me to another point……..the reason for the unease is because the people can see the character of the opposition

He then colourfully talks about the Syrian opposition commander cutting open a soldier and eating his heart and liver and then posting it on YT and of the Christian priests having their heads sawn off, not chopped off but sawn off with bright knives and even a bishop in the Christian church who was murdered by these people. (the opposition).

Every religious minority, there are 23 of those, is petrified of a victory of the Syrian rebels that the British PM and Foreign Secretary have been doing their utmost to supply with weapons and money these last 2 years and they cannot deny it and they now say its about this crime (latest cw attack) whoever committed it but its been the governments policy for 2 years to bring about the defeat of the regime in Damascus and the victory of the kinds of people responsible for these crimes.

Let me make this point more clearly, when did Russia and china, 2.5 Billion people cease to be members of the international community. who are you, on the other side, to decide what the international community should do if you’re unable to persuade the security council to go along with your point-of-view, who are you to decide that you will launch a war in any case. You see, I keep hearing about the unreasonable use of the Veto, I’ve heard that many times over the last few years in this house, that the United States has vetoed every attempt to obtain justice for the Palestinian people and to punish and to issue retribution for international law breaking on the part of Israel and nobody in this house has said one word about it.

There is then a banter for about 30secs about Sarin gas and its ease of access and the Tokyo attack and he finishes off with this comment…..

Russia and China say no to this war, and so do I and most of the people in this country.

How It Works: Atropine, the Nerve Gas Antidote

Posted in Health, News on August 29, 2013 by betweentwopines

This ordinary, generic drug has some extraordinary uses, especially when it comes to treating exposure to nerve gases.

In the hours following the reported chemical weapons attack in the suburbs of Damascus last Wednesday, ailing men, women, and children flocked to the city’s hospitals. Doctors in the Syrian capital treated thousands of patients who were experiencing neurotoxic symptoms, including pinpoint pupils, foaming mouths, convulsions, blurry vision, and difficulty breathing. The symptoms point to exposure to sarin gas or another drug agent, a weapons expert told Bloomberg. To combat the effects of what might be the world’s worst chemical weapons attack in 25 years, the hospital staff turned to atropine—at least until they ran out of the drug.

“Atropine, in large quantities, is the antidote to these nerve gases,” says Rahul Khare, assistant director of the department of emergency medicine at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. So how does atropine combat the effects of a nerve gas attack?

The human nervous system has two branches: the voluntary, which governs primarily muscle movement, and the involuntary, which is called the autonomic. The autonomic nervous system is then further broken down into the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. The sympathetic controls the “fight or flight” response, while the parasympathetic helps the body relax and digest food and is sometimes referred to as the “rest and digest” system.

Khare tells PopMech that nerve agents such as sarin disrupt the parasympathetic system by blocking the neurotransmitter acetylcholinesterase, which breaks down acetylcholine, another neurotransmitter that controls several functions within the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, urinary, and respiratory systems. Without the acetylcholinesterase to moderate the signals, the parasympathetic system is flooded with acetylcholine, resulting in overstimulation of the nerve cells.

“By blocking this neurotransmitter, patients exhibit signs and symptoms which include constricted pupils, large amounts of salivation/bronchial and lung secretions, involuntary urination, and ultimately convulsions and death due to the inability of the respiratory muscles to work, causing asphyxiation,” Khare says.

Atropine is the most common drug used to combat nerve gases. Smithsonian reports that both the Egyptians and Greeks used atropine, although it wasn’t until 1901 that pure atropine was made in a lab. It alleviates the symptoms brought on by nerve gas exposure by blocking the acetylcholine receptors. That way, even though the chemical attack causes an overabundance of acetylcholine in a victim’s brain, the receptors do not pick up the signals and the person’s nervous system has a chance to even itself out. “The important thing is to get the atropine in as quickly as possible,” Khare says. “You want to do it within 30 minutes to an hour, if possible.”

There is no specific dosage of atropine used to treat the symptoms brought on by nerve gas. It simply depends on how much gas the patient was exposed to. Doctors give an initial dose and then administer more until the patient’s bronchial secretions stop.

The good news is that atropine is cheap and generic. You might have experienced its effects already: It is chiefly used in ophthalmology to dilate the pupil of the eye for examination of the retina. Atropine can also dry up nasal and tear-duct secretions, and it has been used to speed up slow heartbeats, preventing cardiac arrest.

Most cities have an emergency stockpile of the medicine for chemical attacks such as the one in Damascus last week. However, the atropine available to the hospitals in Syria wasn’t enough to save everyone, and some patients didn’t reach the hospital soon enough. Roughly 355 people died in the attack.

Outgoing DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano Warns of ‘Serious’ Cyber Attack, Unprecedented Natural Disaster

The outgoing Homeland Security Secretary has a warning for her successor: A massive and “serious” cyber attack on the U.S. homeland is coming, and a natural disaster — the likes of which the nation has never seen — is also likely on its way.

So prepare, and bring “a large bottle of Advil,” Janet Napolitano told her yet-to-be-named replacement in a farewell address Tuesday morning.

“Many things still need tending, and my successor will most certainly have a full plate on his or her hands,” said Napolitano, who leaves her post next week after more than four years at the helm of the Department of Homeland Security.

Napolitano said she faced “many challenges” during her tenure at DHS, from the H1N1 flu pandemic in 2009 to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

DHS — backed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Coast Guard and other federal departments and agencies — led the federal government’s response to such disasters.

During Napolitano’s tenure, her department managed 325 federally declared disasters, and issued more than 60 emergency declarations, she said at the National Press Club in Washington this morning.

Leading a department created in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks meant Napolitano has also been at the forefront of the nation’s counterterrorism and border enforcement efforts.

After the failed Christmas Day “underwear bombing” attempt in 2009, Napolitano launched a worldwide and “historic” effort — in 190 countries — to enhance passenger screening and counter the threat of “nonmetallic devices” on aircraft, she said.

Transportation Security Administration officers are stationed at airports around the world.

“The lesson is clear: For every attack we experience, every threat we face and every piece of intelligence we come across, we learn,” she said. ”And we get stronger and more nimble.”

During her farewell address, Napolitano, who was governor of Arizona before becoming DHS secretary, touted her department’s work on border security and immigration reform.

“Over the past four and a half years, we have invested historic resources to prevent illegal cross-border activity,” she said. “Our borders are now better staffed and better protected than at any time in our nation’s history, and illegal crossings have dropped to near-40-year-lows.”

Napolitano also took a shot at Congress, saying that despite her department’s work to “set commonsense immigration enforcement priorities, with a focus on criminals, national security and public safety threats,” some lawmakers thwarted administration efforts to codify those priorities into law.

“Congress had a chance to give these so-called Dreamers a way to stay in our country through the Dream Act, but unfortunately, that legislation failed to garner the 60 votes needed for cloture, falling just five votes short, despite strong bipartisan support,” Napolitano said.

So last year, Napolitano used her “prosecutorial discretion” to let “young people who meet the strict criteria” temporarily stay in the United States for two years, she said, adding that 430,000 people have already been granted the “deferred action.”

At the end of her address Tuesday, Napolitano offered an “Open Letter to My Successor.”

Among her pieces of advice: “You will need to forge strong relationships with all of our partners, including Congress, to make sure DHS has the resources it needs to meet our responsibilities to the American people. …

“You also will have to prepare for the increasing likelihood of more weather-related events of a more severe nature as a result of climate change, and continue to build the capacity to respond to potential disasters in far-flung regions of the country occurring at the same time.

“You will need a large bottle of Advil,” Napolitano joked.

Still, she said, running DHS is “one of the most rewarding jobs there is.”

“What you do here matters to the lives of people all across our great nation, and your decisions affect them in direct, tangible ways,” she said. “You make sure their families are safe from terrorist threats, that their local first responders have equipment and training and funding, and that when disaster strikes, people who have lost everything are given food, shelter and hope.”

Napolitano surprised many inside Washington when she announced in July that she would be stepping down from her post to become the next president of the University of California system. Beltway rumors suggested Napolitano, a former U.S. attorney in Arizona, was interested in replacing U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, but he has yet to announce any plans to leave the administration.

Napolitano’s departure compounds what the Republican head of the House Homeland Security Committee called a “growing list of unfilled key leadership positions” at DHS, including the posts of deputy secretary, intelligence office chief, U.S. Customs and Border Protection commissioner and Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement director.

The head of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency has been nominated to become the deputy secretary, potentially setting up another vacancy.

Rand Beers, the current undersecretary for National Protection and Programs, will serve as acting DHS secretary until a replacement for Napolitano is confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

Napolitano’s last day at DHS is Sept. 6.

Wave goodbye to global warming, GM and pesticides

Radio wave-treated water could change agriculture as we know it. Its Irish pioneers meet Tom Prendeville

MIRACLE GROW: Treated water results in larger, healthier crops, says Professor Austin Darragh of Limerick University

25 August 2013

A GROUNDBREAKING new Irish technology which could be the greatest breakthrough in agriculture since the plough is set to change the face of modern farming forever.

The technology – radio wave energised water – massively increases the output of vegetables and fruits by up to 30 per cent.

Not only are the plants much bigger but they are largely disease-resistant, meaning huge savings in expensive fertilisers and harmful pesticides.

Extensively tested in Ireland and several other countries, the inexpensive water treatment technology is now being rolled out across the world. The technology makes GM obsolete and also addresses the whole global warming fear that there is too much carbon dioxide in the air, by simply converting excess CO2 into edible plant mass.

Developed by Professor Austin Darragh and Dr JJ Leahy of Limerick University’s Department of Chemistry and Environmental Science, the hardy eco-friendly technology uses nothing but the natural elements of sunlight, water, carbon dioxide in the air and the minerals in the soil.

The compact biscuit-tin-sized technology, which is called Vi-Aqua – meaning ‘life water’ – converts 24 volts of electricity into a radio signal, which charges up the water via an antennae. Once the device is attached to a hose, thousands of gallons of water can be charged up in less than 10 minutes at a cost of pennies.

Speaking about the new technology, Professor Austin Darragh says:

“Vi-Aqua makes water wetter and introduces atmospheric nitrogen into the water in the form of nitrates – so it is free fertiliser. It also produces the miracle of rejuvenating the soil by invigorating soil-based micro-organisms.

“We can also make water savings of at least 30 per cent. When the water is treated it becomes a better solvent, which means it can carry more nutrients to the leaves and stem and percolate better down into the soil to nourish the roots, which in turn produces a better root system. Hence the reason you need less water and why you end up with larger and hardier crops,” explains Professor Austin Darragh.

Extensively tested in Warrenstown Agricultural College, the technology is being hailed as a modern day miracle.

Harold Lawler is Ireland’s foremost Agricultural Specialist. As Director of the National Botanical Gardens and former Master of Agricultural Science at Warrenstown Agricultural College, he has carried out more research on Vi-Aqua growth-enhancing technology than perhaps anyone else in the world:

My extraterrestrial contact with aliens from Lyra,

Posted in Sprituality on August 22, 2013 by betweentwopines

Topic started on 22-8-2013 at ATS  by 50swesterns

After pacing back and forth for several days now, i have decided to speak out about my experiences, both previous and ongoing, which have changed my life forever. So much so, that i, with the knowledge that i have been given, just look at earth now, as i see people talk about having that flash new ipod, or the lastest car, or the newest celebrity hairstyle, and realise how ridiculous and meaningless it all is.Basically, i have since a very young age, been in contact, physical face to face contact i should add, with beings from the constellation of Lyra.
I do not call them aliens, i called them what my father told me to call them, and that was the `elders`.
They are very tall beings, from 6 foot (the females) to 8 foot for the males.
They have long flowing hair, and wear robes very similar to biblical times.
As they walk, they tend to float just above the ground, as if you are on a conveyor belt but no belt there.
They can choose to become invisible if they do not wish to be seen, but they have shown themselves on multiple occasions to other people, who could not help but stare almost shocked at the height of these people.
I have one witness (a lawyer infact), who would be happy to testify on record to this happening. And she even has a couple of photos.
I should add, i am not the only person who has had guidence from them, there are millions of people throughout the world who have had these experience, some face to face, but some only telepathically. Either way i do not claim to be a chosen one or a messenger from god or anything like that. Nor do i consider myself special in any kind of way.

What i have learnt from these beings has shocked me, and the more i learn, the more i realise that this here.. all around us.. peoples lifestyles.. the material world is absolutly nothing. It is meaningless. It is almost like the good people on earth (not many of them), are in this hell hole full of evil people and obstacles, and they are here with it being their biggest test, and if they pass, it is the ultimate hurdle to have overcome.
The talk of `hell` there is no hell.. if there was, then earth is about the closest thing to hell.
The damage it does to the soul, and the dangers.

If you want to fulfil your soul`s purpose on earth, then do NOT.. and i repeat do NOT… follow what society forces upon you as normal.. do NOT lust after the latest iphone or gadget.. do NOT go out drinking and partying and sleeping around every night… do NOT fall into this trap where swearing/ cursing/ being nasty to people is a `normal part of acceptable society`, and if you are offended by it you need to `grow a set`. These are all tests, the highest and most distracting tests and obstacles for the soul to overcome.

When you say no, a big resounding no! to the distractions, the filth, the garbage out there, which is there for one purpose.. to destroy the soul, and when you carry on in your path to the best of your ability… that is the only true happiness.

This does not mean you have to be some jesus and walk around in rags, peniless. There is nothing wrong with enjoying a good steak or wearing nice clothes. But living in a purely material world…… and falling into the trap of treating others badly and putting out negative signals and vibrations into an already faltering enviroment, is only ensuring that you will be unfortunatly re-incarnated again on earth again and again until you pass the test. (Yes, reincarnation is a fact, and we are all here simply because we need to learn and pass the test in one of the harshest and most distracting/ environments possible (earth) ).

I want to help, and i will be spending the rest of my time here, giving out as much knowledge as possible. My goal is not to turn anybody from any religion, not to brainwash or start some cult, there is more than enough of that (anybody with half a brain can see religions are there to control, set by other power hungry beings and leaders) – yes, beings from other planets were on earth in the past, and did claim to be `the gods of all`, when in fact they were no more a god than you and i, but try telling that in a forest to a native who hasnt seen a cellphone in his life, when landing by his hut in a helicopter holding a laser gun, of course he will believe everything you say.

And yes, earth has been used before time and time again, and sadly it will be used again. The reason is simply because it is so easy for entities millions of years ahead, to use telepathic means or events on earth to swing mankind to whatever story or behaviour they choose (has happened many times in the past and that is how we have the old religions).
However, if you can be strong, (mentally is the key), because this is a world where the human brain finds it very, hard almost impossible to overcome temptations, think of all those people buying cigarettes where it clearly states above smoking kills, why would they still do this? they do not have an answer, it is because they can not stop.
Yes, i know it can eventually be cured etc, but it was just an example of how strong these material desires can get, but, like i say if you can gather up the mental strength and will power to say no to the material temptations around you that life throws at you, then evolving is the key.. and it does not involve any kind of ebook for 20 dollars, or galactic federation of light channeling or sitting in circle singing kum-ba-yan, it involves looking at ourselves, our true selves, beyond the makeup.

I am writing this with the blessings and permission of Alyas, Markeethe and Sedarth, three of the `elders` who i have been physically communicating with in the last hour.

I’d thought Lyra was destroyed in the Draconian wars which was what prompted the Arcturians to once again enter 3d space to aid in topping the spread of their tyranny and oppression.

Are these elders survivors of Lyra? Or is this erroneous, and Lyra still survives?

Please, please don’t let the bullies run you off, okay.

Interesting stuff. S n’ F.

You and many others who have posted here regarding this type of information share many similarities to the information I have received.

I would say though, that earth is not necessarily, strictly a “hell,” though it may be perceived as such, but it is rather a sort of playground, an interactive hologram for souls to grow through possibilities of experience in a realm where a strict principle of duality is in place. In order to achieve true peace and happiness one must progress through a cycle of much suffering.

Though I am not yet able to validate your source, I cannot deny the substance of your information.

Continue on the path, my friend.

German government warns of Windows 8

Posted in Technology on August 22, 2013 by betweentwopines

Windows 8 is an unacceptable security risk for companies and authorities, experts warn the government. The so-called Trusted Computing is a back door for the NSA. By Patrick Beuth
20th August 2013
Windows 8 may not be used in German authorities, IT experts say.

How trustworthy is Microsoft? For the federal and all of the German authorities, businesses and private users who want to continue to work with the Windows operating system, this question is now more than ever. Because sooner or later they would have to use Windows 8 or its successor. From internal documents TIME ONLINE exist, but it is clear that the IT professionals of the federal Windows 8 deem downright dangerous. The operating system contains a back door in their view, can not be closed. This backdoor is called Trusted Computing and could have the effect that Microsoft can control any computer remotely and control. And thus the NSA.

Trusted computing is anything but a new phenomenon. Over the past decade, the technology is on the market. Simply put, it’s about trying to protect the computer against manipulations by third parties, for example from viruses and trojans. The user is having to care about anything anymore. To achieve this, first, it needs a special chip that is called a Trusted Platform Module (TPM), and secondly a coordinating operating system. Together, they do not regulate, among other things, the user can install the software on a computer and which. Exactly how it works and what features are part of the Trusted Computing else, is explained for example here and here.

The way how the chip and the operating system work together is standardized. The corresponding specification is defined by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG). The TCG was founded ten years ago by Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, AMD, Hewlett-Packard and Wave Systems – all U.S. companies.

The current TPM specification is soon replaced by a new one, it is just 2.0 TPM. What is common already in smartphones, tablets, and game consoles, is the combination of TPM 2.0 and Windows 8 on PCs and laptops becoming the norm: hardware and operating system are matched, and the manufacturer of the operating system determines installed the applications on a device may be and which are not. In other words, trusted computing is a way, a digital rights management (DRM) to enforce.

Microsoft could thus theoretically determine that no word processing program other than Microsoft Word works on Windows 8th The competition may be legally problematic. But it also has security implications, precisely because the user has no influence on what Microsoft is allowed and what is not. Three points are decisive: First, the TPM in contrast to the current standard in the future is already activated when you first turn on the computer. Who takes care of the computer is in use, so can not decide whether he wants to use the trusted computing functions (opt-in). Second, no subsequent future, complete disabling the TPM longer possible (opt-out). Third, the operating system takes over sovereignty over the TPM, in the case of a Windows computer that is ultimately Microsoft.

No later than 2015 will work with Windows 8.x according to the standard TPM 2.0 virtually every regular computer. What then Microsoft makes updates remotely through the system and thus the whole computer is not completely overlook for the user.

In summary, the user of a trusted computing system lose control of their computer. While this is to some extent the basic idea of trusted computing, explains how the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) here in great detail. The BIS recommends that governments, businesses and private users as well, provided it meets certain conditions the use of this technique. These conditions include the options but the opt-in and opt-out – and the drop off in the future.

“Confidentiality and integrity is not guaranteed”

Instead, Microsoft could decide which programs can be installed on the computer, make already established programs unusable and subsequently help intelligence to control other computers. The competent professionals in the Federal Ministry of Economics, in the federal and the BSI as well as unequivocally warn against the use of trusted computing the new generation of German authorities.

Thus, according to an internal document from the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the beginning of 2012: “The loss of full sovereignty over information technology” are “the security objectives ‘confidentiality’ and ‘integrity’ is no longer guaranteed.” Elsewhere are phrases like: “Significant impact on the federal IT security can go with it.” The conclusion is therefore: “The use of ‘trusted Computing’ technique in this form … is unacceptable for the federal administration and the operators of critical infrastructure.”
